Server

Displays the list of SilhouetteCentral groups that will be changed when the sync is performed.

Authentication

Sets the authentication mode that SilhouetteCentral will use when querying the LDAP server. Can be one of the following:

• Anonymous
• Basic
• Digest

Username and Password

The username and password are the credentials that SilhouetteCentral will use to query the LDAP server. This is only available when the authentication mode is set to basic or digest

Base DN

The Base DN specifies the node in the LDAP server where SilhouetteCentral will begin the search for users.

Organizational Unit

The Organizational Unit that SilhouetteCentral will scan for groups. (Referred to as the Silhouette Root OU).

Login Attribute

Configures which LDAP attribute SilhouetteCentral will assign as the Username for the created SilhouetteCentral users. This can be set to one of the following:

• SAM Account Name
• User Principal Name
• Other (you will be required to enter the attribute value when this is selected)
